Genna-rations Farm is owned and operated by my husband and me – John and Tacha Gennarino. We started this farm as Sandy Creek Alpacas in 2003 when we purchased our first three alpacas. As the years went by we added more products to the farm.
In 2010, we became husband and wife and decided to celebrate our new union and our ever-changing farmstead by changing our farm name to reflect the current state of our farm. Using our last name as inspiration, our new farm name, became Genna-rations Farm.
Currently, the farm produces alpaca breeding stock, alpaca fiber and products (such as glove, hats, scarves, and of course, socks), 100% soy candles made right here on the farm, sweet wildflower honey harvested here as well, and don’t forget our wonderful garlic.
In addition to our current products, we have planted a small heirloom orchard and vineyard that will steer us in the direction of our next endeavor. In the next few years, we hope to open a winery/cidery.
And, if we ever find time to get our act together, we plan to have a small roadside stand for our products, including farm fresh eggs, that will be open air and available more normal business hours.
Keep checking back often for updates. We introduce new products when we are confident we can make them perfectly for you and we already have some on the back burner simmering away.
If you have any questions about raising alpacas or the prodcuts we raise/grow here on the farm, please contact us.
Have a great day!
John & Tacha
